POTSIKEI “Discovery” is a sonic and spatial odyssey.
Between futuristic beatboxing, cinematic samples and abyssal bass, the duo unfolds an organic and vibrant universe with sci-fi sounds.
Drawing on Gustav Holst's orchestral work "The Planets" and on cult themes from science fiction cinema or video games, this journey propels the human breath to the far reaches of space.
A true ellipse in the solar system and beyond.

British composer Gustav Holst (1874-1934) is considered the true pioneer of science fiction film music thanks to his orchestral suite The Planets.
Composed in 1916, this musical work explores the symbolic character of the seven planets of the solar system.
A visionary work that opened up a new sonic universe for Hollywood composers decades later (John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman...) Holst created a true "road map" of spatial emotions and invented the futuristic sound of science fiction cinema.

The POTSIKEI "Discovery" formula has variable geometry and can accommodate one or more moving creatures in its capsule.
As the duo met more people, they were joined by guests such as Isma, Koïsso, Nino and Megan.
Local dancers from all backgrounds — hip-hop, contemporary, electro — are also invited to join the duo on stage.
At each performance, the set is reconfigured, shaped by the energy of the venue, the artists, and the audience.
A unique imprint, anchored in space and time.

A physical die triggers different biospheres that instantly alter bodies, movements, and sound textures.
Guided by our guest dancer, local dancers are in turn invited to enter the setup and activate these different worlds in motion.
Each throw thus opens a new sequence of improvisation, transforming the stage into a choreographic, unpredictable and participatory playground.
The stage then becomes a space of interconnection between bodies, music and imaginations, where disciplines respond to each other in real time.
The final phase is open to local rappers, invited to join POTSIKEI for a freestyle on a hip-hop mash-up specially created for the occasion.
